Marina Vahtola, chairman of the board for the MIAB Group

After MIAB has developed well in recent years and shown good results, the board is now being strengthened with additional cutting-edge expertise. MIAB's companies are gathered under a board with a common board chairman, and at the most recent general meeting, Marina Vahtola was elected as the new board chairman of the MIAB group.

Marina Vahtola has a long, extensive and successful career as CEO within, among other things, international chain and branding company. She has a master's degree in economics and has worked at Bauhaus and Silja Line, among other things. Marina has board assignments in several Finnish, Swedish and German companies. In the majority of assignments, she is chairman of the board.

- Marina has versatile and extensive experience with various listed companies and she has had assignments both as CEO and board member. We see her broad expertise with a focus in branding, concepts and sales in digital channels as a very valuable asset to further strengthen MIAB's position going forward. MIAB has a positive development where it continues to grow. The last few years show good results and MIAB continues to strengthen its position in the industry through new assignments, new hires and acquisitions. IN in connection with the change of board chairman, the companies within the MIAB group are now brought together under one board and one board chairman. This is to further strengthen the company going forward and achieve even more synergies and increase efficiency and productivity.

Marina Vahtola replaces Lennart Robertsson who is leaving the assignment as chairman of the board at the spring general meeting.
