MIAB wins the assignment for premises maintenance
in Region Gävleborg
MIAB has secured the assignment for premises maintenance and related services for Region Gävleborg. The assignment, which begins on 1 November 2024, extends over an initial contract period of 4 years, with the possibility of extension up to a total of 6 years.
In its entirety, the assignment will include local care services for Region Gävleborg's hospitals, health care centers and the Public Dental Service's dental clinics in Gästrikland and Hälsingland. To meet the needs in these areas, a workforce of over 120 employees is planned.
The assignment will be carried out in several locations, with main locations in Gävle, Bollnäs, Hudiksvall, Söderhamn and Sandviken, which marks MIAB's establishment in new geographical locations. The estimated value of the assignment over the entire contract period amounts to approximately SEK 480 million, which underlines its scope and importance for both MIAB and Region Gävleborg.
This success in the procurement shows not only MIAB's ability to deliver high-quality services, but also Region Gävleborg's commitment to valuing factors other than price alone. This collaboration represents an important milestone for MIAB and strengthens our presence in Care & Care, while giving us the opportunity to grow and develop in new locations.
